What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address, the display name you choose, and your notification preference. If you join The Daily Glow, we store your membership state — whether you are in a trial, active, or canceled, and the relevant dates. We also process basic technical information such as your IP address and device or browser details to keep the app secure.

Why we are allowed to use it

We process your account and membership information to perform our agreement with you, technical and security information under our legitimate interest in keeping the app safe and working, optional reminders with your consent, and certain records because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them.

Your photos stay on your device

Selfies you add to your ritual are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. Your saved check-ins and journal history are stored locally on your own device. Clearing your browser data, uninstalling, or switching devices will remove them, and we cannot recover them for you.

How we use your information

We use your information only to sign you in, remember your preferences, deliver your membership, respond to support requests, and keep the app secure and working. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos for advertising or training.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the categories of recipients needed to run the app: service providers who host the app, store account data, and send account emails; Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of memberships, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing; our professional advisers such as legal and accounting; and authorities where the law requires it. They may only use your information for those purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent for reminders. Write to hello@seethevibe.app and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Notifications

We do not send push notifications or daily reminders. We only email you when it is necessary for your account or membership.

Your choices

You may update your display name and notification preference in the app at any time. You may also request a copy of your account information or ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@seethevibe.app. Deleting your account removes your account record and membership state from our systems.

Data retention & security

We keep account and membership records for as long as your account exists, plus any period required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

This app is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
